"Therefore I am" artwork is created using digital mixed-media art. Ideal to offer as a gift or to decorate your living room, for a graphic and colorful atmosphere.

All my prints are printed on glossy photo paper with high-quality inks. They are packed with care and shipped safely with cardboard reinforcement and protected with a plastic sleeve.

I created these digital mixed-media illustrations for a course I was teaching. For "Therefore I am" I asked my daughter if I could use her as my model and asked her to pick a quote or song lyrics that she wanted me to use as inspiration. She chose Billie Eilish’s “Therefore I Am” song lyrics. The lyrics were important to her and so I used them to create this illustration. The lyrics are woven deep into the background and especially to the meaning behind each layer I chose for this illustration.

I first create a background then add the female figure. From there I add tons of digital ephemera, text, and handwritten words. Each layer carries a deeper meaning or emotion. There is text hidden in the art that expresses a feeling. I hope you enjoy these girls as much as I enjoyed creating them.
